Brierley Hill Mischief Fortnight: Sun 11 Oct - Sun 08 November

Dear Residents of Brierley Hill,

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team invites you to multiple Mischief Fortnight events near you, aimed at helping you keep your home, family, and neighbourhood safer during this Halloween/bonfire season.

During this period, our officers will be on hand to offer practical crime prevention advice and answer any questions you might have.

You’ll also have the opportunity to pick up useful crime prevention materials such as leaflets, home security tips, and personal safety resources to take away. We are here to ensure that all advice is given regarding the sale of fireworks during this 2 week safety and awareness campaign run by your local neighbourhood policing team. Mischief fortnight is aimed to address spikes in Anti-Social Behaviour i.e. Nuisance calls, Firework misuse, Criminal damage and burglaries during these dark evenings.

Officers to issue letter and reminders to parents and local shops regarding the sale of eggs, flour and Fireworks to young people. Increase patrols within local parks and open spaces to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour during this period.

Whether you’re interested in learning more about home security, vehicle safety, or how to protect yourself from scams, we’re always here to help.

🤝🏼Together, we can make our community safer and stronger. We look forward to seeing you there!
